Visual arts, design, theatre, dance, music and cinema: Contemporaryart Torino Piemonte 2010 gets to the heart of matters. In synergy with the capital of Lombardy which presents Contemporaneamente Milano 2010, under the Mole in October the Speciale autunno gets underway, a festival packed with events of international appeal.

The two cities will promote initiatives within the context of the contemporary dictated by the innovation of languages and the crossover between diverse arts.

Among the upcoming events, the two recurring events of the autumnal focus: the usual appointment in Torino with the fair ARTISSIMA 17 which this year, under the direction of Francesco Manacorda, will be held in the new location of the Oval and Luci d’Artista (Artist’s lights), one of the city’s most representative events, enriched this year by a new work created by the German artist Tobias Rehberger in Piazza Castello.

ContemporaryArtTorino Piemonte also presents an opportunity to visit numerous exhibitions in the city and throughout the region.

Among the forthcoming events in Milan worthy of mention is the inauguration of the MUSEO DEL NOVECENTO (Museum of the twentieth century) at Palazzo dell'Arengario, which will exhibit to the public approximately three hundred and fifty works selected from the almost four thousand dedicated to the Italian art of the XX century owned by the City of Milan.

Finally, the NOTTE DELLE ARTI CONTEMPORANEE (Night of contemporary arts), the traditional event of ContemporaryArt Torino Piemonte. For the occasion the public will be invited to participate in unique events: festivities, concerts, dj sets, happenings, performances and exhibition previews with special openings of museums, artistic foundations and art galleries.
