European Sculpture: Difference and Diversity

Under the title “European Sculpture: Difference and Diversity” sculpture network, the European network for contemporary sculpture, reflects in an exhibition upon the various traditions and orientations in contemporary sculpture in Europe. Some 150 artworks by over 30 artists in Europe will be on show in the “Nave Gallery” in Grugliasco by Turin in an exhibition by members of sculpture network from the 16th of September through the 6th of November 2010. This exhibition makes apparent the development and tendencies in contemporary sculpture since the 1960’s.

To mark the start of the show, sculpture network is also organising its IX International Sculpture Forum under the title “European Sculpture: Difference and Diversity in Practice”, to include lectures, discussions, art reviews. The exhibition as well as the international sculpture forum are taking place in close cooperation with the cultural institution, Martin - Martini Arte Internazionale.
