Considerations over the areas of Turin and Piedmont as historically strategic places for contemporary art, in terms of inclination, qualified presence of artists, structures, museums, galleries and public institutions and also in terms of strong investments in related initiatives, has lead us to define a system around contemporary art which we would like to present in this new portal.

We have decided to use the net as yet a further way to give voice to this system. The portal will therefore be one of the tools to allow a direct contact between Institutions, operators, artists and audiences, offering news, content and opportunities. It will also be the place where one can find general information and more specific information regarding events, artists and professionals. A website that can be used and customised to one’s desires.

Contemporary Art Torino Piemonte is to be seen as an organic set of institutions, structures, spaces events and people, active all year round, that finds in the autumn programme of initiatives its main focus of schedule of events.
